Blackswan $SWAN Token Burn And Tokenomics Update
Cryptocurrency markets are heavily correlated and full of downside tail risk. While there are many tokens competing to achieve the highest positive growth during these periods, virtually none of the projects plan for the opposite, extreme contraction during market cycles.
Blackswan maintains stability not only during market growth cycles but unleashes growth during contractionary market periods with the aim to move as an anti-fragile asset or uncertainty index.
I would like to congratulate the community on a successful launch today! While we did encounter some issues on Polygon, and on the Quickswap DEX, I view this as a positive as holders who did not participate in the sale, are now able to enter at an amazing price. Regardless, the Launchpad sale sold-out and that means that our team is pushing full force ahead to ensure the success of this project. Fundamentals remain intact, and will only increase as TVL accumulates and the platform launch approaches.
Tokenomics Update
Due to the amazing support and excitement of the community, when finalizing our tokenomics, we adjusted our liquidity incentives allocation and “burned” a substantial number of SWAN that would have otherwise been in circulation.
This has allowed for the total max supply to be decreased from 10,000,000 to 8,625,000. To clarify, The initial total supply is 5,845,000 with the remaining tokens in a 2 year vesting period. Circulating supply is 3,345,000 with the liquidity incentives having yet to be distributed and $200,000 of liquidity getting locked.
Blackswan LP Staking
Some members in the community have asked about the launch of Blackswan LP staking and if it will co-inside with the USDC distribution pool launch on July 11th. The answer is yes!
This will mean that SWAN will be locked in the SWAN lake to help bootstrap liquidity for the full launch on July 21st. Rewards will be higher in the Blackswan Lake than in the USDC distribution pool.
